Jaguar introduced a new model for the North American market today. The 2010 Jaguar XF Supercharged sees an increase in power over the previous edition by the same name. The automaker also released U.S. pricing information for the XF lineup.
The new XF Supercharged churns out 346kW and up to 575Nm from its 5.0-liter AJ-V8 Gen III engine. This engine was shown off earlier in the year at the Detroit Auto Show, but had only been planned in naturally aspirated form for the 2010 XF. At Detroit, Jaguar said the XFR would only get the 5.0-liter supercharged unit, tuned to deliver 375kW on that model.
"The Jaguar XF Supercharged will offer consumers a compelling luxury sedan choice with benchmark handling ability and truly memorable performance," said Jaguar Managing Director Mike O'Driscoll.
Jag's new XF Supercharged has 12% more horses under the hood compared to the 2009 Supercharged XF, which used the 4.2-liter engine. The new model has a 0-100 km/h time of 4.9 seconds, and makes use of both Active Differential Control and Adaptive Dynamics. Each of these systems comes standard, along with ventilated disc brakes, painted calipers, quad-tailpipes, and 20-inch, five triple-spoke alloy wheels. Rich Oak veneer trim is available on this model only, which also features twin needle upholstery stitching, premium headliner, heated steering wheel, and a 440-Watt Bowers & Wilkens surround sound system with HD radio.
Sales of the 2010 Jaguar XF Supercharged will begin in October 2009.

Seat Leon facelift tuning package by JE Design
http://www.maxauto.co.za/CntView.aspx?CatID=26&CntID=766
Building upon their five previous Seat Leon styling kits in various forms, JE Design has announced yet another new styling package for Seat's recently updated Leon.
The company starts out by offering an extensive aerodynamic body kit that consists of a new front spoiler, aggressive side skirts, and a bold rear apron in mock carbon fiber. Should that fail to spark your interest, JE Design also offers a massive rear wing, a matt black grille, "headlights masks", and a hood scoop.
To give the Leon a sporty stance, JE Design offers a sport spring lowering kit that reduces the ride height 35mm up front and 15mm out back. If that isn't enough for your tastes, they also offer a more aggressive coilover lowering kit that reduces ride height by up to 65mm.
Other styling options include the usual assortment of alloy wheels (in 17, 18 and 19 inches), a stainless steel dual central exhaust, and a slightly sportier stainless steel quad exhaust.
