German tuners Startech has turned their attentions to the Jaguar XK and the Jaguar XKR. The company's design packages are available for both the coupe and convertible of either model.

Although typically known for working on Chrysler made vehicles, Startech decided to turn their attention to the British models for the '09 Frankfurt show. The company brought a revised version of the XK Coupe to the IAA there. New exterior touches are made out of carbon fiber, and include spoiler flaps that were tacked on to the OEM apron. The new rear molding is built out of the lightweight material, and incorporates a black, honeycomb mesh between the new dual exhaust.

Design modifications include daytime running lights built into the air vents on either side at the front end. The car sits on Monostar J Diamond Edition 21-inch three-piece wheels. It also sits lower, as the ride height on both models has been dropped by about 40 millimeters.

Startech did not stop with the exterior. The customized brandy-toned leather and Alcantara interior with contrasting seams was meant to evoke a "very English ambiance in the cockpit," although the customer can choose from a wider variety of colors. Bamboo trim replaces the OEM aluminum or precious-wood options, but a carbon-fiber trim may also be chosen.

AVUS Performance Modest Tuning for Nissan GT-R

Avus Performance has unveiled a new range of styling and performance accessories for the Nissan GT-R.

Starting with a run-of-the-mill GT-R Black Edition, Avus added a matt black body vinyl adhesive foil, a coilover suspension and 20-inch wheels outfitted with wheel spacers.

While the exterior looks a little plain, the same thing can't be said about the engine. Equipped with a modified ECU and a high performance exhaust system, the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 produces 433 kW and 700 Nm of torque. While no performance figures were given, the revised output is a huge increase from the standard car's 362 kW and 588 Nm of torque.
